Dr. Truett Smith is a native of San Angelo, where he has practiced since returning in 1987.  With an office-based general practice in psychology, he provides treatment and evaluation services to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families, including, but not limited to:

bullet An internship for his Ph.D. at the Veterans’ Hospital and Scott & White Hospital, in Temple, Texas, focusing on medical psychology, pediatric psychology, and psychotherapy
bullet Two years as a psychologist for the inpatient drug and alcohol program at the Veterans’ Hospital in Big Spring, Texas
bullet One year as the psychologist at River Crest Hospital in San Angelo, also serving as director of the adult psychiatric unit
bullet Private practice since 1988
